Fractional Chief Growth Officer

If your SaaS growth hits a plateau, you need to scale up, or you might have to optimise your PLG. Then, you want someone who has been there before and has the knowledge and expertise to drive your targets.

I have led many Growth teams across different SaaS, where I had to build processes, frameworks and teams.

Some of these businesses thrived (two exited), and others didn’t succeed. I learned what to do and what to avoid.

As a Fractional CGO, I will work on the right GTM and PLG strategies for your SaaS and create an actionable implementation roadmap.

Your team will be guided by experienced hands, allowing you to focus on the rest of the business.

You will benefit from my wins and avoid making my past mistakes.

  • SaaS and Marketplaces at any of the following situations:

    • Experiencing stagnated growth

    • Planning to scale growth considerably

    • Looking to optimise or transition to Product-Led Growth

  • Fractional:

    • This setup provides flexibility to have a strong leader on the team a few days a week to guide the growth and marketing function and prepare for the next growth stage.

    • The fractional setup is ideal for companies with marketing and growth resources that only need a C-Level leader part-time or are not ready to fully commit to this hire.

    • It is also suitable for companies that want to test the waters and see how a Fractional can boost their business.

    Interim:

    • When a key resource leaves a company, hiring a permanent replacement is often tricky, with its intrinsic risks and timeframes.

    • Interim C-level executives usually join for anything between 3 and 12 months to ease the business transition and, if needed, help you recruit and onboard a replacement as an effective solution to the problem.

    • The interim option especially suits companies that need someone to commit 100% of their time to them, either to replace a lost executive or to bridge the arrival of the next one. Or when there is a crucial transitioning period in the business.

  • TL;DR You’ll get the Growth and GTM strategy, roadmap, process implementation, and team direction. And an optimised PLG strategy where applicable.

    These are the key points:

    • Dedicated leadership in establishing strategy, processes, and teams to drive revenue for your business and measure the impact of your Growth and Marketing work

    • Design and implement go-to-market strategies to acquire, grow, and retain recurring revenue

    • Defining the optimal Growth team structure and building high-performing growth teams

    • Optimising your Product-Led Growth strategy or transitioning into PLG - if that makes sense for your business

  • We'll define the objectives and map out a timeline. I'll embed into your team to integrate marketing, sales, and product to grow your business.

I'll have a weekly session with you or your team, and you'll also get support via email or IM between sessions.

We'll work based on objectives rather than on timesheets.

Also, I limit my number of Fractional clients to ensure they get everything from me to support their growth.

  • There is no one-size-fits-all solution, and it depends on each client, their business needs, and their situation. It tends to be three to six months, which is a solid term to make a palpable impact and pave the way for sustainable growth.

However, some clients prefer a different engagement length. Either way, we will work together to find what's best for you and your SaaS.

  • Of course, I understand you may have a bunch of questions. Let's have a quick chat then. Your business' success is important, and we don't want to leave any blind spots. I'd happily answer these questions and see if there is a fit. Your business matters to us.

And if there isn't a fit, I'll also help you to get to the right people or resources.
